CANR Administrative Staff trained on the use of Google Collaborating Apps

The College Registrar, in collaboration with the IT office of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR), organized a one-day workshop training for CANR Administrative Assistants on the use of Google Collaborating Apps. The Workshop took place on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at the Faculty of Agriculture ICT Laboratory.

Mrs. Juliana Serwaa Andoh, the College Registrar, in her opening remarks indicated that "the Google Suite tools are designed to support an Administrator in working effectively and efficiently."  She also advised the participants to put their newly acquired knowledge into practice since "this is part of the University's effort toward a paperless system."

Mr. Clement Adomako, a Junior Systems Analyst and the College IT officer, led the Administrative Assistants through an in-depth session on how to use the Google Suite apps to schedule notices for board meetings, collaborate with their heads of department on Writing Memos, and easily backup their vitals to Google Cloud Storage. He ended the presentation by promising to support to participants.

Participants expressed their appreciation to the College Registrar and the College IT Manager for the Workshop.
