The Office of Grant and Research (OGR) of the Kwame Nkrumah University and Technology (KNUST) has organised a Research and Grantsmanship engagement forum with Academic Staffs at the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) on Thursday, 21st April, 2022 at the Conference Room of the New College Block.
The Director of OGR, Professor Phillip Antwi-Agyei in his opening remarks indicated that the Academic Staff in CANR contribute significantly to KNUST in terms of research and grantsmanships.Β
Prof. Antwi presented to the CANR Staffs on "improving grantsmanship and research visibility in the College." His presentation covered practical ways for establishing research networks, acquiring research grants, and improving researchers' academic integrity.
In his presentation, he revealed that the Department of Horticulture leads the College in grants, followed by the Department of Fisheries and Watershed Management.
Prof. Antwi introduced Mrs. Patricia Amoah Yirenkyi, the College's newly assigned OGR assistant, to the staff during his Presentation.Β
Prof. Ben Kwaku Branoh Banful, Provost of the College, thanked the Director of OGR and his Team and stated that the College is committed to providing impactful research, winning grants to increase the University's visibility globally, and promoting development.
