A delegation from Junia Ingénieurs, France, has paid a courtesy call on the Provost of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR), Prof. dadson Awunyo-Vitor at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), outlining expectations and activities under the ongoing Erasmus 3+2 mobility collaboration.

The visit forms part of the Erasmus 3+2 KNUST–Junia Faculty Mobility and Student Extension Programme, implemented under a Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions.

The partnership facilitates reciprocal staff and student exchanges aimed at strengthening academic delivery, research collaboration and international exposure.

Over the years, the collaboration has enabled faculty exchange in both directions.

Lecturers from KNUST have travelled to France to teach specialised courses, while faculty members from Junia Ingénieurs are currently at KNUST delivering lectures.

In the coming weeks, additional KNUST lecturers are expected to undertake teaching assignments in France.

As part of the delegation’s activities, an interview session was conducted for students of the College seeking to participate in the mobility programme.

The exercise marked a critical stage in the selection process, with a panel assessing candidates’ academic preparedness and capacity to thrive in an international learning environment.

The mobility initiative provides selected students with the opportunity to continue their studies in France, broadening their academic and cultural experiences.

Successful candidates will be announced after the review process is completed, university officials indicated.
