Second- and third-year students of the Department of Fisheries and Watershed Management (DFWM) at the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources have successfully presented their semester projects.
The presentations highlighted innovative research and practical solutions in the field of fisheries and watershed management.

The event brought together faculty members, teaching assistants, and colleagues to assess and engage with the students’ findings.
Projects explored diverse themes ranging from sustainable aquaculture systems, water resource management, and fish stock assessment to the impact of climate change on aquatic ecosystems.
The exercise formed part of the department’s commitment to blending theory with practice while nurturing future experts in natural resource conservation.

Lecturers served as judges, offering critiques on the students’ creativity, research skills, and practical insights, while stressing the importance of such academic exercises in addressing Ghana’s fisheries and water resource challenges.
The session also created an opportunity for peer learning and feedback, ensuring students are better prepared for professional careers in fisheries science and watershed management.
