The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources organized an orientation program to welcome 1,978 undergraduate students, including both local and international students, into the College.

This event served as an essential platform to equip the new students with vital information and resources to help them settle smoothly into university life and excel throughout their academic journey.

The orientation was a significant event, attracting thousands of enthusiastic freshmen along with the presence of the College’s lecturers, administrative staff, and alumni.

During the program, students were introduced to the organizational structure of the College, the roles of various departments, and the resources available to support their academic and personal development.

The sessions were designed to ensure that students gained a clear understanding of what is required to thrive in their new environment.

The Provost of the College, Prof. Dadson Awunyo-Vitor, congratulated the freshmen on their successful admission and encouraged them to make the most of their time on campus.

"I want to take a moment to congratulate you for making it through the competitive selection process. The journey ahead will demand education, commitment, and resilience.

It is your duty and responsibility as freshmen to approach your studies seriously, actively participate in all programs, and ask relevant questions. Pay attention, engage fully, and make the most of this opportunity," he emphasized.
