Professor (Mrs.) Dickson praised the student leaders' efforts to take on leadership responsibilities in the University Community to assist the Administration in the delivery of KNUST's primary goals. She also gave them advice on what it takes to be a leader and what that implies. "Leadership is not about anything other than service, sacrifice, and dedication." Working with individuals necessitates commitment, devotion, and discipline. This implies you'll need the self-discipline to be able to lead others into a world of discipline, as well as being accommodative to handle all the hardships that will come your way," she explained.

The interaction continued with an open forum for the student leaders to share their opinions on how the University Management would ensure that the student body adhere to all COVID-19 safety protocols.

Professor Wilson Agyei Agyare, Dean of Students; Professor William Gariba, who spoke about "The Challenge of Being a Student Leader"; and Dr Hannah Vivian Osei, who led a forum on "Building an Efficient Working Team" were among the other speakers during the meeting. Professor Osei Safo-Kantanka and Dr. Daniel Norris Bekoe also led Interactive Sessions on "The Student Leader and Integrity" and "Social Media – Its Usefulness and Challenges for the Student Leader."

Present at the meeting were all SRC elected Executives, all NUGS elected Executives, Speaker of SRC Parliament and Clerk of Parliament, all SRC Appointees, all NUGS Appointees, all Members of the SRC Parliament, Presidents and Secretaries of all Faculty and Departmental Student Associations
