Prof. Nana Ewusi-Mensah is a Soil Scientist (Soil Microbiology option) at the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.

From 2010 till 2020, he has worked towards improving his professional reputation through local and international workshops/seminars and conferences. In 2016, he won an African young scientist fellowship award organized by the Association of Commonwealth Universities to participate in the Climate Impacts Research Capacity and Leadership Enhancement (CIRCLE) in sub-Saharan Africa programme, an initiative of the UK's Department for International Development to develop his research skills in the field of climate change and its impacts on development. His current research focuses on investigating how soil management practices impact climate change. Other research interests are; rhizobiology and bio-waste waste management. Since 2010, he has produced over 38 peer reviewed papers in reputable journals. Following his collaborative prowess, he was won over $2M through research grant proposals since his appointment.
